Sayantani has a PhD in Economics. She has a teaching experience of over 20 years. Sayantani is a visiting professor at IIM Udaipur and IIM Amritsar.<br>She did her MSc, MPhil and PhD from Calcutta University. Women labor force participation and women empowerment was her area of PhD research. Her published research includes 15 journal publications, 5 book chapters and 1 book; she has presented research papers in national and international conferences.<br>Sayantani did her PGDBA from SCDL and is on the editorial board of three international journals. She has been associated with academic institutions like Shri Shikshayatan College, Amity University, New York University, MDI, Unitedworld School of Business, GNIT and IIPM. She also provides consultancy on quantitative and qualitative research.<br>She is actively involved in research work in the social sciences field. She has received the ‘Best Data Science Faculty’ award in the women faculty category from AIM in 2021.
