Prithwis is an engineer by education, a teacher by profession, a programmer by passion and an imagineer by intention. He loves to live at the creative edge where technology meets business and tinker with tomorrow's technology today. He has worked as a software engineer at Tata Steel and Tata IBM and as a technology consultant at PwC and IBM India. Subsequently, he was a tenured professor at IIT Kharagpur and is currently the Director at Praxis Business School. Prithwis pioneered the use of Relational Database technology at Tata Steel and in PwC he created and led the eBusiness practice. In IBM he introduced the concept of 3D Virtual Worlds that has now become more well known as the Metaverse. At IIT Kharagpur he created new courses in data warehousing and data mining which later became the backbone of the Praxis Data Science program.<br>Prithwis is a prolific author having written books on Python and Deep Learning and two science fiction novels, Chronotantra, Chronoyantra. His personal motto is "Resources are Limited, Creativity is Unlimited''.
