Dr. Sayantani Roy Choudhury is an Economics scholar with 20+ years of teaching experience. She holds a PhD, MPhil, and MSc from Calcutta University, with her doctoral research focusing on women labor force participation and empowerment.

She has taught at IIM Udaipur, IIM Amritsar, Amity University, MDI, New York University, Unitedworld School of Business, among others. At Praxis, she contributes to Economics, Statistics, and Business Analytics courses.

Sayantani has 15 journal publications, 5 book chapters, and 1 book to her credit, and regularly presents at international conferences. She also serves on editorial boards of three international journals.

Her work has earned her the ‘Best Data Science Faculty – Women Category’ Award by AIM (2021).
