Refunds: The entire amount paid by the student upon and post admission shall stand forfeited except the refundable deposit mentioned above. This applies to dismissals as withdrawals, voluntary or otherwise, from the institute's rolls. Laptop: Each student must have a wi-fi enabled personal laptop before the start of classes. The laptop has to be a 64-bit machine and should be equipped with a minimum 8 GB RAM. Educational Loans: Praxis has tied up with Credila, Avanse Financial Services and IDBI Bank for student loans, details of which would be furnished on selection. Disputes: Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Kolkata courts only.
WIT Scholarships Director's Merit List Foundation Scholarships Praxis Scholarships Praxis Women in Tech (WiT) Scholarships Praxis WiT (Women in Tech) Scholarships is an initiative to encourage and support greater participation by women in tech and data careers. This is in line with our belief that gender diversity in the workforce, especially in tech, brings immense value to the organization, the economy, and society. The Praxis Women in Tech (WiT) Scholarship is awarded to all selected women aspirants applying for the Praxis PG Program in Data Science. Awardees need to maintain a minimum CQPI of 5.0/8.0 throughout the duration of the program. Amount of scholarship: Rs. 1 lac Why Women in Tech Digital is largely about tech and data. Those proficient in tech and data are poised to play leadership roles in shaping our world Women are acutely under-represented in the fields of tech and data, despite global conversations on gender diversity in the workforce The world needs more tech and data talent and women can fill this gap and drive sustainable careers and achieve financial independence Decades of research suggests that diversity leads to enhanced innovation and problem solving and more women in tech implies better solutions to global problems Get inspired by WiT Praxites Director's Merit List: 5 scholarships per intake Rs. 1 lac per candidate All students who meet the criteria for the scholarships can apply for the same. A candidate can apply under one category at the time of admission. The performance of the Scholars will be monitored for the renewal of the Scholarship in each term.* Students need to maintain a minimum CQPI every trimester to be eligible for continuing with the scholarship.* Eligibility Students need to have the following qualifying scores: Class X - 85% Class XII - 85% Graduation - 75% In addition, students should not have any year gap or backlogs during their academic career. Condition for continuation of the scholarship: Rank in the top 20% of the class, and Maintain a minimum CQPI of 5.2 out of 8 in each trimester Praxis Business School Foundation Scholarships This scholarship would be given to meritorious candidates whose annual family income is less than Rs. 4.0 Lacs per year; income affidavit supporting the same needs to be submitted for review by the board. Total Scholarships: 5 scholarships per intake Scholarship Amount: Rs. 1 lac per candidate Eligibility Students fulfilling the above criteria need to have the following qualifying scores in order to be eligible for the scholarship: Class X - 75% Class XII - 75% Graduation - 70% In addition, students should not have any backlog or break of more than a year in either their academic or corporate career. Condition for continuation of the scholarship: 1. Maintain a minimum CQPI of 5.0 out of 8 in each trimester
Graduates with a minimum of 60% in any of the following disciplines from a recognized or Deemed University: B E /B. Tech / B. Sc (with Economics / Statistics as one of the subjects); Graduates from any other stream with Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects. Post Graduates with a minimum of 60% from any of the following disciplines from a recognised / Deemed University or a recognized college: ME / M. Tech / MSc (with Economics / Statistics as one of the subjects) Minimum of 60% in Class X and XII
